The Customer Service / Account Representative is responsible for maintaining the overall accuracy of our customer accounts, responding to customer inquiries/cancellation requests, on-boarding members, communicating with customers by email/phone and offering solutions to drive company revenue. Other customer service and administrative duties as required.
Job Responsibilities & Main Duties
Complete all administrative paperwork and tasks accurately, and promptly.
Follow up calls to members and clients for late payments, expired credit cards, balance Owings, etc
Maintain spreadsheets of all account maintenance activities
Prioritize assigned duties
Create and post job descriptions to online job postings and manage applications that come in.
Assisting Front desk with contract signups
Organize files (contracts & forms) in google drive to be accessible
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting every member and prospect.
Proactively manage and resolve all member concerns and complaints, escalate serious concerns and complaints to the manager for resolution.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of gym and fitness programs, products, and services and promote them to prospective customers.
Lookup class and trainer schedules, register and sign Clients in for fitness classes and Personal Training consultations, check clients into the Gym and have clients complete all necessary paperwork.
Review and reply daily to emails and messages from customers.
Other duties and responsibilities based on needs.
In this position you will be required to work approximately 30-40hr/week This is not a remote opportunity.
High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
A related degree or diploma is an asset but not required.
Intermediate computer skills
Proficiency with Mindbody Online system is an asset but not required
Strong customer service skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
