As I have played sports and trained for the majority of my life, being able to combine my two passions into work is a dream come true.
As a child, I was continuously drawn to sports and physical activities. My appreciation for competitive sports developed rapidly as I got older. I started viewing professional athletes as superhuman for the seemingly impossible goals they managed to obtain.
Seeing athletes in my adolescence such as Kobe Bryant and Tom Brady achieve such great success, inspired me to view athletics from a perspective of personal development as opposed to playing a game; thus, sparking my passion for fitness!
I knew how athletes got stronger and developed their physical skills to own their craft, but I wasn’t quite sure how these individuals built the supreme confidence and mental strength to consistently do the unthinkable.
As someone who had struggled to build confidence, I needed to understand how the most successful athletes functioned, their philosophies, their daily habits. I became obsessed with becoming my best self! I expected the gym to be a difficult transition, but as soon as I was finished my first real workout, I felt relieved. There was a sense of power and control I had never felt before. All I had to do was lift weights and run! I’ve been eager to improve and share my passion for both physical and mental fitness ever since!
