YUMMY... Cranberry Apple Oatmeal Bake. This dish is great for a family get together or a festive occasion. You can vary the ingredients depending on the season. For this winter season you can add cranberries and plenty of cinnamon and nutmeg. While it’s baking in the oven you will have time to prepare other breakfast items. Ingredients: 2 cups old fashion oats 2 cups of low fat skim milk ½ tsp organic vanilla ½ cup of slivered almonds ½ cup dried cranberries or dried fruit of choice 1 large unpeeled grated apple (preferred Macintosh). Coat a 3-quart (Large casserole dish or baking pan with cooking spray) 2.Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. If you are preparing the night before don’t add the liquids such as milk or grated apple until the morning. 3. Place mixture in casserole dish and bake uncovered for 45 minutes! Happy Baking!
